Tate International Partnerships work

Developed projects at Tate as an Exhibitions Assistant on the curatorial team for collection exhibitions, including shows at National Art Center Tokyo, MFA Budapest, Kunstmuseum den Haag, and National Gallery of Ireland.

Digital Consultant for Say Now

Developed branding and marketing strategy for Modest Management and Atlantic Records for UK girl group Say Now.

Hired as a K-pop Subject Matter Expert. Provided ad-hoc day-to-day artist management services.

My two year experience working on Tate international touring exhibition development and pitches confirmed for me the importance of geographic and cultural specific spaces, contexts, and audiences. As a curator I focus on who one wants to reach and why rather than simply what one wants to put on a wall. My work has since moved between commercial and independent galleries in London, New York and Berlin, with recent projects at 56 Henry and Ida’s Room.

Some of my strongest lessons in audience centered experiences come from having worked in music including supporting Metallica’s M72 stadium tour, advising the major-label British girl group Say Now, and producing dozens of artist events for one of the world’s largest online K-pop communities.

Now pursuing an MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths, I am bringing those worlds together through fan culture, gigs, and nightlife — not as things to put inside exhibitions, but as places where curating might already be happening.
